For beds, try Warren Evans. They have multiple showrooms in London plus you can also buy online these days, I believe. We bought ours 10 years ago and the mattress is still really good and the frame is rock-solid. If you keep an eye out they seem to put various models on sale periodically.

FWIW, JL and Warren Evans are the top two ranked bed vendors for customer satisfaction by "Which?", IIRC.

I suspect we're going to end up with the JL one. We have a JL one atm, and it's done very well (and will hopefully continue to do so in the spare room).
