* Yes, I know, but it's only the fitted sheet and I tend to just have plain ones of those that tone with the rest of the bedding, so I don't think it'd be a problem.

Also, if anyone has strong views about the relative comfort levels of the Ikea HAGALUND and LYCKSELE sofabeds for sleeping purposes, or the general quality of Indesit freezers, do let me know, hmm?

I have a LYCKSELE, it is a great bed and a not very comfy sofa (which follows my usual rule - if a sofabed is a good sofa, it will be a lousy bed and visa versa).
It's also an excellent cat scratching post...

For beds, try Warren Evans. They have multiple showrooms in London plus you can also buy online these days, I believe. We bought ours 10 years ago and the mattress is still really good and the frame is rock-solid. If you keep an eye out they seem to put various models on sale periodically.

I've just bought a barbeque and can confirm that the B&Q and Homebase ranges are just as flimsy as that ASDA one. We decided to go cheaper in the end and bought a £25 one without the double grill (but with the same idea that we'd just use one side when its just the two of us) and got a disposable one for the veggies. Might upgrade to a Weber in a couple of years if we make enough use of it.

Depends on how cheap is cheap, but for basic dressing gowns BHS is a good bet. Or M&S next time they do a 20% off. Cheaper than that is probably Primark or ebay.
