Final election watch

So, here's what we had:
By post to Mike: 1 Labour, 1 Lib Dem
By post to Flick: 1 Lib Dem, 1 Labour (both some time later than Mike's, and different)
By post in the weekly Royal Mail Pile O'Junk Mail: 1 Tory, 1 Socialist Party, 1 TUSC Against Cuts (oops, wrong constituency), 2 Green (one for the right, one for the wrong constituency, came on the same day), 1 UKIP (wrong constituency)
Hand delivered: 2 Tory, by the council candidate. No other canvassers.
No one at the polling station checking who'd voted: I guess they were all off in Thanet South!
Today, we have been mostly gardening: planted out everything that's going into containers that can be moved inside if needed, and a fair chunk of the half hardy bedding plants. We're planning on planting out properly from this weekend, assuming that the long-range forecast looks ok. |
