I treated myself to some of Mr Kimpling's fine mini Battenburg cakes, when Mike was so foolish as to let me have his phone mid-Tesco-order. I'm bemused to note that they are, apparently, an official sponsor of the X Factor, and indeed offer me the chance to win tickets to see it being recorded.
Although I've never seen it, my mental image of a typical X-Factor watcher doesn't overlap much with a typical eater of Mr Kipling's cakes, I have to say. Maybe it's just me? |
