Adventurous ducks
Yesterday, because it was so hot, we left the gate open so that the boys could come into their stables if they wanted. That meant that the ducks had to go into the garden, because the boys Can't Be Trusted.
They seemed quite happy, though. Gytha lurked in the shrubbery a lot, and they wandered about eating bugs.
Today, we put them in the stableyard while we mucked out. About half an hour later, breaksfast barely touched, they headed back into the garden and stayed there again! If they're going to make a habit of it, I'll have to either move their pond permanently or get them a second one.
