Oh!
After we put the (two...) girls to bed, we were walking along the side of the back garden hedge when it went 'quack'.... After a certain amount of dashing around the back garden (with a bit of help for us from Jo, as the hedge is too thick for me to get into), and a bit of a swim around in the fish pond, Gytha is now back in the Duck House with the others!
Hurrah!
(I would have had Mike snap a picture of her hat, but she was a bit distressed at being carried around, particularly given the presence of the large wolf who was bouncing around saying "throw it! throw the squeaky toy!")
Now, if the electricity can just stay on for the rest of the evening then all will be good. (Big thunder storm earlier, must have knocked something out. It's been coming and going for the last hour or so.)
