Portion control
Given their night of muching away at TWWOTV's lawn*, and the fact that they're looking a wee bit tubby anyway, the boys got their grazing muzzles on for the morning. Baby was incredibly unimpressed, although I think that GB figured out how it works, as he had his head down. They've got them off now, because Mike's soft.
* I actually don't think that they were in there all night, and it wasn't entirely voluntary: she has a knee-high fence around part of the lawn, which completely fails in its intended role of stopping herrats dogs from running out into the road. The boys had stepped (uphill) over it but didn't want to try the higher downhill return trip. So instead they huddled in the corner of her garden, doing little 'help, help' terrified poos, until it got light.
Mike had some errands to run this morning, and I wanted to get some wool for a project, so we took Jodie with us. It was mostly terribly dull, sitting in the car, but I did take her for a look at the bunnies in Pets At Home while Mike was in B&Q buying things to repair the gate. I got her a puzzle game, and it took her about a minute to find the treat that I'd put on the rug next to it, about a minute to figure out how to open the flap, and about a minute to hoover up all of the treats inside, including the 'difficult to get' ones. She's either secretly really smart or just very lucky. Given how ineffectual she's shown herself to be at chasing squirrels on the stableyard fence (the gate was open. It was not necessary to try to climb over the fence, and randomly hurling yourself at it is even less likely to be useful...), I'm guessing it's the latter.
Edit: Oh, my mistake. She hasn't actually got all the treats, she's just lost interest. I've just shown her that there are still treats inside, and she looked at me as if to say "I don't understand! Why won't you give me the treats? I don't understand! Please will you give them to me?"
