We took Jo to the beach this morning. She had a lovely time, as ever.
At the beach, we watched the men with their little trolleys tied to their waists, collecting worms. The worms were much bigger than I thought that they would be.

I do like those colours. I think that might be my next weaving project, having just finished a (somewhat autumnal) blanket:

(I've, possibly foolishly, taken space in the L3 art show. Foolishness arises because now I need to fill it. There may be weaving involved: any thoughts on the relative merits of blankets and shawls...? Pricey, though, unless I use Lidl Sock Wool.)
The kitchen is pretty much done. I'm not sure that I like it. Am reserving judgement, and photos, until we've put the clutter back: right now, it does look a bit clinical. The woodwork is paler than we thought it would be. I'm sure I'll get used to it!
Some bugger at the staff weekend gave Mike a cold. I very much hope that he's not given it to me....
