I'd assumed that, because ratty was just taking the nuts and leaving the chaff that chaff wasn't tasty. But apparently it will do in a pinch: I found this when I went to make up the feeds....



I think I might start asking around the neighbours to see if anyone knows of a good ratting terrier in the area. Either that or lock Next Door's cats in the barn for a few nights!
