Where's my stuff...?

In the last couple of weeks, I've realised that I can't lay my hands on both my box of (craft-type, rather than postage) stamps, which admittedly I haven't had reason to look for since Mike and I swapped desks at least a year ago, and my stack of winter tops, which I'm sure I carefully put somewhere in the wardrobe a few months ago. Sigh. It's a very long blonde moment, apparently.

(I did find my rivet placing device, mysteriously in Mike's stationery drawer rather than in with my craft stuff. Not all bad, I suppose.)

That's nothing - I managed to mysteriously lose my large sewing machine last week. Not the sort of thing that you'd expect to be easily hiding. I found it a few days later, in the storage compartment of our old sofa...

I'm not sure whether I'm more impressed that you lost a sewing machine (top shelf of the small hall cupboard. See, normally I'm good at knowing where things are!) or that you have a storage compartment in your sofa.

No, scratch that: storage compartment in sofa is *awesome*!
