Oh dear. Am Old.

It occurs to me that the last two albums I've bought added to my Amazon wish list have been as a result of hearing women performing on Women's Hour. I don't even like female vocalists.

(Gosh, ain't R4 great?)

Two weeks ago, I managed to listen to Radio 1 for about ten minutes.

Dearie me, but the young people listen to some frightful rubbish these days.

That said, I refuse to listen to Radio 2 on principle.

I ended buying 50 shades of grey based on Jenny Murray talking about.

BAD JENNY

I've always suspected Jenny had a naughty side.

I used to love Kiss FM about eight years ago. I grew up. Radio 4 is my favourite as well. Have not quite started to pick up my parents Archers habit but I think it's on the way. You're sensible and mature - well mostly...

Yes, R4 is great and so is R3 - radio for grown ups.

For music, I quite like R6, particularly the Radcliffe & Maconie Show.

Thanks for the reminder to catch up with Mary Chapin Carpenter's guest spot via the BBC iPlayer.
