Pony pictures!

Couldn't be bothered riding today, so I just made the pony nice and pretty and clean instead:

(The random bum is Casper, one of his neighbours. The other neighbour, watching from inside, is Cilla, who may or may not be his girlfriend: they seem to be on a break right now.)

Of course, then I put him in the field, where he rolled, so not so clean now! I'll probably regret leaving his tail unplaited, but it has to happen at some point: can't leave it like that when the flies come out.

Today, I drove home by a different route. Very exciting. Stopped off to buy GB a new rug on the way, and then came home via the A20. Didn't get lost, although there was a bit of time when I was driving through Lewisham thinking "I wonder where I am... I thought I was going into Lewisham town centre, but the bus stops all say 'towards New Cross'...".

Oh, and here is my extensive collection of holiday photos:

(Mike's version of this picture is much better composed, not wonky, has no random bits of pillar in the way and, most importantly, gives you absolutely no idea that the deer-things were right on the other side of our pool!)

(See, my horse isn't really fat!)

(This may have been the freakiest thing about the UAE.)

And pictures from the first time GB went out in the field for a fortnight:
(Normally, I put him out, he looks pathetically at me for leaving him abandoned like that, mooches about a bit, has a roll and then looks for something to eat, spending the next few hours gradually working his way over to the back part of the field on the other side of the hill. Not that day, he was off like a shot!)

Quite aside from the loss of a good dating technique for future archaeologists

Why would you want to date future archaeologists?

*runs away giggling*
