Ever since we moved here, there's been a patch of brambles by the school. I finally decided that we were going to get rid of it, if we possibly could.
After some consultation with ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png) vicarage (who does this sort of thing for fun), I got out the secateurs and made a start on it this morning.
Unfortunately, over the last six months when we've not been using the school the bloody things have grown.... I might have managed a quarter of it, if I'm lucky, but at least all the ones that had rooted into the school surface have gone now!
I managed pretty well at not getting scratched, except for a strip of skin between my gloves and my coat sleeves, which is now rather red and sore. |
