The hop is still going:
Mike's just put another wire in, as it has reached the top of the current one. We're going to try to have it go along the top of the kitchen window, which should look pretty when it flowers. I'm a little worried about it getting lost, though, especially as it turns the corner: it's high enough now that you need a ladder when you guide it back onto the wire.
I'm getting quite sick of this dodgy arm business. I can do a lot (most?) of the day-to-day stuff, but I'd really like to be getting on with things like painting the stableyard, and weeding. Mike raked down the sides of the riding arena this afternoon. I managed several yards before I had to leave it to him.
Jodie had her first walk fully off the lead, today, and celebrated with a bunny. I do wonder, though, whether she'd thought things through when she later took off after a squirrel with the bunny still in her mouth.... |
