Productive?

It's mostly been raining, so we've been stuck inside other than a quick dash through the woods with Jodie.
So, I've finished off a few things for the worldcon art show, and I've made a start on a newsletter for next month, but I don't really feel as though I've done very much.
On the drain front, we gave up and called the professionals. They hypothesis that it's actually a problem with the septic tank, not a blockage, and that it's hopefully just filled up a lot faster than we thought that it would. So, they're coming to empty it tomorrow and we shall cross our fingers that that fixes things.
And it's been far too grey for photos, so no pictures unless you'd like one of Jodie with the toy that she found in the woods yesterday. It was tremendously fun, because even after she broke it I obliged by throwing it for her a few times. It turns out that she can play fetch when sufficiently interested in the object being thrown, although I must admit that it got a bit manky after a few goes around. And I doubt that you do, really.
At least the forecast for tomorrow has improved drastically! |
