Today, I rode Bessie. Now my bum hurts: she's a bouncy pony!
I had to ride Bess, because GB's off work: I got to the yard on Sunday and he'd had a huge chunk bitten out of him, by a pony from the size of it. Annoyingly, it looked very close to the saddle, so I thought I'd give him a couple of days off. Today, I actually put the saddle on him, to see if I could get away with it, and discovered that, no, it's not close to the saddle, it's under it.
Sigh. So, he's got a few more days off, at least. On the plus side, I'm not going to be there for the next few days anyway, because I'm doing a course on basketry, so I suppose it works out ok! |
