And the cherry lady has arrived in her lay-by, so we have cherries (and peaches)!

We took Bob up to the vet today, to have that bit of suture taken out, and the nurse pulled on the end of it and it just kept coming. In the end, she cut it off and left the end of it to dissolve, but hopefully it'll finish healing up properly now.

I don't trust the layby fruit people, the few times I've stopped they are charging more than supermarkets (and I suspect its where they buy their stock).

My Gypsy* lady's great, and definitely not more expensive than / bought from the supermarket. A kilo of Thannet new potatoes for a pound, today.

I agree about them in general, though: we stopped at a different one last summer, once, and it was pretty crap.
