He does seem to like his extra-tough teddy bear, though, having barely put it down since he walked into the house and found it, except to drop it on my keyboard. Mmmm, slobbery.
I have a vague recollection that Sid spent her first couple of days with us trying to be Alert Dog Is Alert until she physically passed out, and then as she got more comfortable relaxed *a lot* and spent a lot more time snoozing peacefully.
Obviously now she is 9 snoozing peacefully is her main job, other than barking at pigeons that have the nerve to land on the balcony.
He's very overstimulated! He'll be fine when he relaxes (I hope). He has spent a few hours mostly snoozing on the sofa with occasional breaks to run around.
