Android tablets

My father wants a new android tablet, and seems to think that I should be able to tell him which one to get....

He's thinking of getting either the Galaxy Tab S3 or Lenovo Tab 4 Plus. About all I can tell is that they both seem to be on top ten lists but the Galaxy is usually higher up.

Does anyone have anything better informed to add?

Only marginally more informed, but... Phil has a Galaxy Tab A, bought in 2016 that he's happy with. His summary is that "I felt and still feel it's a nice midrange device, not as pricy as the top end but it doesn't feel cheap or plasticy. Has an HD screen, microSD slot, and was £200 or so IIRC."

I think that he currently has a Galaxy, so I think I'm going to tell him to go for that because it'll be familiar if nothing else!

Usually a good plan. The fact there's not much in the way of people screaming to avoid it at all costs should also be reassuring :-)
