Hmmm. Can you capture the light reflected from snow (on a sunny day)? They lay shiny white tarpaulins under orchard trees here to colour the underside of apples.

Anyway, +u for the solar panels!

I don't think we get enough snow for it to be worth trying, really. It'd be an interesting idea to try, though!
