1) Mrs Next Door, The New Man and TNM's kids came over this morning for pony rides. MND and I rode Bugs, and the others rode GB. TNM expressed an initial preference to have a go on Bugs, but I said he had to go on GB first; I'm glad that I did, because GB thought he was asking for canter when he did his first trot but had the sense not to do it: I suspect Bugs would have gone for it!
2) Hot! The Met Office keeps promising us rain and then changing its mind again.
3) We have a wasp nest down a hole in the lawn, irritatingly. I've just given it the fourth spray with foam nest killer....
