Can you find some software that'd insert extra frames that morph between the movie's frames? That'd both make it smoother and longer.

Hmm. Interesting idea, I have not a clue, though.

(I did run this one through iMovie, and toned down the variation in brightness quite a lot to make it less strobe-like. I didn't see an option to do anything like that, but I've never used it before so....)
