The girls mostly seem to be hiding in their house, occasionally sticking their beaks out of the door for long enough to nibble a bit of grass. When we herd them out, they stand by the gate quacking for a bit and then go back inside, except for when Magrat goes The Wrong Way and ends up on her own in the garden: I've rescued her twice, now.

I'm sure that they'll settle down....
