Yet another woozy pooch

Although she's not entirely delighted by it, this collar is a lot better than the big plastic one, so we can leave it on all the time *and* she'll fit in her crate with it on. (Although we may well move the crate to our room for tonight, just in case.) I'm also going to have a go at putting one of my long-sleeved t-shirts on her, backwards and tied to her collar, as an added line of defence.

This time, she has three layers of stitches, two internal (one in the fat and one in the muscle) and the external ones. I've not had a look yet, though, as I don't want to disturb her when she's dozing off the drugs.

And we have pain killers, and more antibiotics, and orders that she's to be on the lead even in the garden.

It obviously is sore, because she couldn't manage the steps into the house (we went around the back, instead). Unfortunately, every time they re-do it they have to take a bit more skin off, which means that the tension on the wound increases.
