The larches are not only getting bright green needles but also teeny tiny fuzzy purple cones, which I failed miserably at getting a non-blurry picture of:


We saw what I think must be a garden-escapee snowdrop, as well. It was much bigger than the usual ones, but I can't think what else it would be, with those little green dots:


Edit: it's Leucojum aestivum, the Summer Snowdrop, actually a lilly. Thank you, Country Life!
