Quiet day
Today was Tuesday, which is usually a quiet day: it's when I do my nails, so there's not much else that I can do!
I did take Jo for a nice walk, though. It's not terribly close to home, but there's an impressive patch of wild garlic by one of the footpaths:

Must go up there with a bag one day. I suspect that Mike's chicken and garlic soup would be very tasty with wild garlic, rather than roasted cloves.
The Baby managed to get his rug off, today, which was impressive. I have a sneaking suspicion that he may have been assisted in the process by GB biting him on the arse and getting hold of the rug while the Baby ran away....
Although I've not been actively putting things in the skip, I've been making mental notes of things that need to go in it (eg, the two rusty old gates lying by the school). I need to go around the patios and gather up all the pots that are either empty of only contain weeds, so that I can stack them all up together with the rest of the spare pots and get sort out the ones that are broken: the previous owners apparently liked terracotta pots, which I think must have been a great trial to them as it wasn't a cold winter this year and I've already seen three or four that had cracked. I suppose it's possible that they used to bring them all into the conservatory, but they weren't in there when we first viewed the house at about this time of year.
Also on the pile of spare pots are some strange mats, made up of circles of plastic:

Anyone got any guesses what they're for?
