Getting there...
The car's finally back home:
In good news, it turns out that the local Honda garage can get a new locking nut thing in overnight, so we just need to get one of the Next Doors to drive one of us in to pick it up and there won't have to be any chisel action, either.
Mike noticed something odd about Jodie's Squeaky Ball, in particular the fact that it had acquired a non-squeaky twin. Thinking about it, I didn't notice any squeaking when I was throwing it for Jo earlier, so I suspect that she found it out there, rather than having taken it with her.
And I did at least manage to wash my hair, so that's something.
