Maybe Jodie's been watching Little Shop of Horrors ...

Ha, maybe!

I'm both a little sad and a little pleased about it: next door gave it to us as a moving in present, and it was still going strong and flowering. On the other hand, it wasn't actually the most attractive of plants!

I tend to remove people from my FL for crossposting from twitter to LJ. Just so you know in advance why I've done it.

Fair enough: I can understand it, and I've done the same thing with a few people who use Twitter a lot.

I'm only doing it because it seems to be the only way of easily posting photos to LJ, and I've got a vague attempt at a photo-a-day going on.

as long as your picture is hosted somewhere - flickr, twitter, even facebook - you should be able to display it in a LJ post. or have they changed something?

Yes, but this seems to be the easiest way to have a single-step process that gets pictures from my phone to my LJ. I can, for example, select the photos on my phone, email them to myself, upload them to LJ's own picture hosting service and then tell LJ to generate a post, which has the added advantage of *then* being able to copy the text and post it on DW, but it's a faff.

Doing it this way, I select the photos on my phone and press a button, which is far more likely to actually get done.

I'd rather be able to post it directly, and indeed to actually post the pictures, rather than links to them, but I can't find a better simple solution.

Doesn't GB get jealous when you take The Baby out?

Insanely so, yes.

He used to just go for him in the field afterwards, which was annoying but liveable-with, but since we've moved he spends the entire time away running around pathetically, shouting his head off trying to figure out where the Baby has got to.

I did try leaving him in a stable, but he got so worked up that he was covered in sweat by the time we got back.

It's somewhat heart-wrenching, as we ride down the road away from him. It must be incredibly annoying for the neighbours, too!

So he misses the Baby rather than is jealous of him getting your attention?

Annie just left after her Thursday evening visit, and, as always, Max saw her off the premises, sat out side and watched her drive away with intense satisfaction, he does this every week and only to Annie, he Does Not Approve of her coming and diverting my attention away from Him.

pics come out quite small this way.

I tripped over and threw a herb across Waltham Abbey the other week, and it seems to be doing fine having been scooped up and planted. So there is some hope for your potplant. But yes, my guess is that Jodie is never going to learn to be careful around fragile things on windowsills.

Yeah, I'm not sure I like the way that they come through as links rather than images, either.

Sigh.

I could try the LJ app again, but it's notoriously crap and I gave up on it last time I tried.

I think it's a bit of both, but the missing is stronger.

Jodie, on the other hand, he seems to have definitely decided he doesn't like. She, very sensibly, gives him a wide berth when he's not tied up.

Right, given up with Twitter, you can come back now if you want!
