Hurrah!

We've had a whole 1.5mm of rain since 6 June.

Hopefully this storm will stick around for a bit and make up for it.

Up here, we've been having what I can only describe as an amateur storm. Brief downpours, very occasional thunder, sunny spells in between. Enough water has come down that it's cooler, instead of just more humid. Long may this continue!

From the radar it looks like you got a good soaking. We had 2 storms, but they were pretty brief, so I think you've done better. Mind you I can water my land with a hosepipe, and don't have great hairy beasties dependant on it!

About half an inch, which is enough to be useful (especially as it's wet the ground ready for the forecast afternoon of heavy rain tomorrow)!
