It rained! A bit.
1) I thought I'd re-read Strangers In Paradise, as I'd not done for a while. I'd forgotten how random it gets in the middle there. Apparently, I decided it was *too* random and stopped buying it: I'm four or five volumes short. Is it worth buying them, or does it fail to have a satisfying conclusion?
2) Poor Jo: today was Mike's day in London, so not only did I go out earlier than usual for Pilates but I took him with me and left her All Alone for Hours And Hours. I relented and took her with me when I went to pick him up [g]. And she did get to 'help' with the scrambled eggs I had for lunch.
3) (Um. Damn, I thought three might be hard work some days.) I got some new shade-and-dry-loving plants, as part of my ongoing quest to find something to plant under the big conifers. I was going to plant them out today, but then the weather forecast changed my mind: the ground should be less hard after a couple of days of rain, and if we do get one of these heavy downpours with hail then I doubt that they'd appreciate it on their first day outside!
