Gardening!
Following the removal of the bloody leylandii, I was pleased that I'd be able to have my clothes drier moved to a sunnier spot. This would also have the added advantage of it going in a new hole so that (this time) Mike could make sure it was actually properly level and upright. He made the new hole the other week, and I did the first load of line-dried laundry, and then one of the arms snapped off the drier. Oops. Mike bought a new, and tougher looking, one, and today I put out laundry out for the second time. It's a bit windy, today....

In better news, the Zen Garden is finished! (Although next winter we might pop a dwarf cherry in, to go with the maple that is currently so twig-like you can't actually see it on the picture.)

I'm hopeful that, in a year or two, I'll be able to cut away the exposed weed-control fabric, as the nettle roots will have died off.
